Age | 24 | I was introduced to basketball aged 6 or 7 by my elementary school teacher whose son played for my hometown, which at the time used to have fairly successful teams. I played for 5 years before dropping it in order to start playing baseball for my hometown and didn't really pick it up competitively again until my first year as an undergraduate in England. I played for Warwick first team in my second and third year and last year I was one of the lucky ones to witness the birth of Oxford Women seconds during wet practice sessions on Pembroke's outdoor court. | |
