| 08/06/2005 22:52:14 | Championship Games The women's championship game will be played on Friday June 17th from 4pm to 5pm and the men's will take place on the same day from 5pm to 6pm. The games are scheduled in the afternoon so that an official BUSA referee can attend the matches. There will be 4 quarters lasting 6 minutes each (clock will stop in between possessions and during free throws). Teams will be given a 5 minute warm-up and 5 minute half-time. For the quarter and semi-final games, to ensure that the integrity of the game is upheld, free-throws will be shot after 5 fouls each half and the clock will stop during the last 2 minutes. |

| 07/06/2005 16:27:51 | Final Tournament Please note that the final tournament will played during Week 8, with the championship games set for Friday, June 17th. Each men's team in the Elite Eight will receive T-shirts, along with each women's team in the Final Four. The men's and women's champions will also receive championship T-shirts. Best to each team in the final tournament and thanks to all the colleges who participated in Cuppers this year. |

| 01/03/2005 18:44:51 | Cuppers Entry Details Cuppers will run throughout Trinity term. There is a separate competition for men and women. Anyone is allowed to play however if there are blues or two’s in the team then no mixed college teams are allowed The first stage will be a league system and then once these leagues are decided, a progression to knockout stages will occur. Either a blues player or two’s player will referee the games so there is no need to organise your own ref’s – just turn up! For a win a team is awarded 3 points and 0 points for a loss, failure to show up for a game will result in a 1 point penalty. Please ensure that the winning college captain e-mails the result to our tournament organiser becky.inkster@wolfson.oxford.ac.uk the same day as the game is played on so that the website can be updated promptly !!! The closing date for entries is Friday 15th April |
